Social Pantry are a stylish, seasonal and B-Corp certified caterer, who provide for every occasion from weddings to large scale festival banquettes. They have recently moved into the world of long-term managed catering within prestigious sites, their first being Tower Bridge and this year being awarded the contracts for Mansion House and Central Criminal Courts (Old Bailey).
I was brought on board to manage the simultaneous mobilisation of the two latter sites, familiarising Social Pantry with the complex and continuous operations of both locations and producing a schedule of works to take over from the existing caterers. I designed and managed install of a fully consumer-operated vending machine café, planned and set up 2 additional cafes with full supplier and pricing models, and coordinated the take-over of a calendar of pre-planned events for Mansion House. This was a complex and highly time pressured project, but an inspiring team of people to work with, who I have learned an awful lot from in field of commercial catering and events.
